A clear path to
Admissions process
Let’s take the
next step together.
ISK is academically selective and encourages every learner to fulfil their potential. Applications are reviewed using the child’s age, previous learning, entrance assessment, interviews and available places.

Contact our Admissions Department to discuss your child’s year group and arrange a preliminary meeting and campus tour.
Complete the application
Submit the online application form. The admissions team will contact you after receiving your submission.
Provide documents
Share four passport-size photographs, the latest school report or transcripts, a school leaving certificate or transfer letter, and a birth certificate or passport.
Entrance assessment
Applicants complete age-appropriate assessments in English and Mathematics so the school can understand readiness and support needs.
Student and parent meetings
The student interview is followed by a parent meeting with the Principal. This helps both the family and school confirm the right fit and placement.
Offer and enrolment
Admission is subject to successful assessment, the age-placement guidance and availability in the relevant year group. The team will explain the next steps.

Finding the right year
Placement by age,
readiness and records.
ISK welcomes children from Pre-Nursery through Year 13. As a general guide, children progress from Pre-Nursery at around age 2 years 4 months, to Year 1 at around 5 years 4 months, and then advance one year group for each additional year of age.
Because age cut-offs and individual circumstances can change, the Admissions Department confirms the appropriate placement after reviewing the child’s date of birth, school records and assessment.
